Sabekdanga Doochala building

The building is located in Sabekdanga village, about four kilometers away from Bagerhat district headquarters. It is a rugged Doochala building built of bricks.It has become a spectacular building for exceptional construction. Its roof is bent like bows. Its west wall has a mihrab and there are one entrance gate on the north, south and east walls. Terracotta use in the building is noticeable. Terracotta has a lot of trailer-leaf design. Currently the building is being used as a mosque. The mosque has been named after the village name. The place of this mosque is about five kilometers away from the tomb of Khan Jahan.The building was built around the eighteenth century.
